Bringing Truth, Goodness, and Beauty to the Stage.
Classical Children’s Plays is devoted to giving children the chance to discover the good, the beautiful and the true through drama. It was founded by a core group of Christian writers, directors, a choreographer and a composer, who all share the same vision of raising children’s theatre to the highest standard possible. Coming from within the classical education movement, we collaborate on each work, but also accept submissions from other writers and composers whose works display our values.
Each of our plays or musicals is centered around one great goal: to bring out the core of truth, the vision of beauty, the aspect of goodness that lies at the heart of every great work of literature, and to make it both accessible and appealing to children. Our goal is to reintroduce classical values into the drama programs of both Christian and secular schools. In this way, we will be helping the next generation learn to love goodness, truth, and beauty, so that they will seek these as adults.
